Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts, born on October 28, 1967, at Atlanta to Betty Lou Bredemus & Walter Grady Roberts. Her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer, was one of the first Roberts to settle in Atlanta. Her father was a young man when he became interested in theater. He was a part of his Emory University campus in 1952 and in other productions in Atlanta. Following his air force service, in 1953 he appeared in an airforce production in Biloxi along with Betty Lou Bredemus. In 1955, the couple married and, in 1956, their child Eric Anthony was born. Walter was a student at Tulane University New Orleans Louisiana following his departure from the Air Force in the year 1957. Walter was hired as a technician by Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio to be a part of the production team for the television show Bum Bum His Buddies in Decatur Georgia. Walter along with Betty Lou produced a Saturday morning show on local television for kids called Bum Bum and His Buddies in 1964. This was a project that they funded themselves. They also established an organization that lasted for six years called the Actors and Writers Workshop later that same year. Lelisa Billingsley, also known as Lisa, was born in the year 1965. Julia Billingsley followed in 1967.
