Jennifer Garner was originally born in Houston Texas on 17 April 1973. She was raised however in Charleston West Virginia. The father of Jennifer Garner, William John Garner, was a chemical engineer for Union Carbide. Patricia Ann, her mother taught at a local college. She graduated with a degree in chemical engineering, aiming to imitate her father. In order to fulfill her desire to be an actor, she moved in New York. While she was appearing in Broadway productions, she served as a server in a nearby restaurant. The TV show "Felicity," she had a small cameo.
